I had a fantastic mini break from travel this week as I flew from Singapore to Detroit to watch one of my best friends get married. The bride and groom are two of the most kind-hearted and fun-loving people I know, and I was so honored to be a part of their celebration. Getting to share in the overwhelming joy of their day was worth every hour (27 to be exact) it took to be there for it. And participating in the bachelorette party, getting to see some great friends, and spending time with family were all icing on the (wedding) cake.
